Position Summary: Responsible the oversight of the daily roasting needs of coffee production to include the direct supervision of the coffee production staff. This position assists in the continuing development of roasting our coffee variations as well as staying on top of coffee and tea trends and recommending new or replacement profiles. Responsible for green coffee inventory, machinery maintenance and all other related supply ordering and inventory management.
Applicants without roasting of coffee production experience will not be considered.
· High school diploma or GED equivalent
Part time position working with the Coffee Production team to prepare and package all coffee products for inventory/shipping. We are looking for the right candidate that is able to provide the following skills:
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast paced deadline oriented position.
Flexibility and Ability to multi-task
Technical Aptitude with a willingness to learn and try new techniques
Understand and Operate Coffee Packaging Machines
Perform routine cleaning, maintenance and calibration of roaster and related equipment.
Keep production area clean and up to Food Safety Program standards.
Must Love Coffee
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Fork Lift Certification
Ability to stand for several hours at a time
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds unassisted
Roasting Experience preferred not required
