Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a Brand Ambassador & Storefront Manager to lead the management of a brand which is relatively new to the Canadian market. 

This role is unique in that you will be responsible for one brand, inside a company that deals with many different brands. You will need to take ownership of all facets of this ‘business within a business’ as if it were your own. You will report to the CEO on performance on a regular basis; therefore, you must know your numbers, and understand and execute on net income strategies. 

We possess a strong focus on continuous improvement, intellectual curiosity, and challenging the status quo. We are seeking a like-minded individual, and being a self-starter is a must! The successful candidate will be exceptionally well-organized and meticulously thorough. They must be able to effectively and respectfully communicate, both written and verbal, with all types of individuals. Being innovative and having strong problem-solving skills will benefit this position and lead to success in this role.

Responsibilities & Overview:

  • Manage day-to-day responsibilities of the marketplace/sales channel: customer service, order fulfillment, troubleshooting
  • Monitor and maintain account performance, ratings, and sales reports
  • Develop sales strategies, manage social media and newsletters
  • Maintain up-to-date product information including but not limited to: inventory, pricing, product data feeds, image editing and promotions (including Shopify applications)
  • Prepare data files and images of new items for implementation across all sales channels/storefronts
  • Update website copy, image editing, formatting, and pricing as needed

Job Requirements (preferred):

  • Bachelor degree in business, marketing, data sciences, or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in E-commerce; prior Shopify experience is an asset
  • Experience as a distributor or retail buyer is a plus

Position Type: Full time (up to 40 hours/week), starting at $16-18/hour depending on experience

Who We Are Looking For:

The successful candidate will already  possess a strong background in customer service, and prior experience in a call center environment also benefits this role. 

Due to the nature of our business, knowledge of natural health supplements and/or pet ailments would be an asset.  We operate 7 days a week, and are open on all holidays except for Christmas Day, and New Years Day. Our hours of operation are 7 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday, and from 8 AM to 5 PM on weekends and holidays. We are a small team, thus we do expect that our ideal candidate be flexible with their availability. 

We are a small team who work very closely together in order to reach a common goal. We are seeking a person who is easy going, and can work well with all types of people. We are an energetic and fun-loving office full of open minded and inclusive individuals.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assisting our clients via phone, live chat, and written communication such as email
  • Placing orders and processing payments
  • Data entry
  • General office tasks (mailing, faxing, packing orders)
  • Working closely with management to improve performance and/or client experience
  • Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays, if needed
  • Ability to complete 2 weeks of F/T training 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience working with computers and on the internet.
  • Prior call centre experience is preferred
  • Strong communication skills, active listening, the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve
  • General office/administrative skills, with above-average writing skills
  • Ability to empathize with customers who are experiencing hardship with their own health needs, or that of their pet
  • Ability to work well independently, as well as with a team
  • Being a pet owner is an asset, though not a requirement!
