Job Title: Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/ Part-Time, Seasonal

Pay Rate: varies depending on experience; Starting at $13/hour

Key Responsibilities:


  • Providing support to the operations manager with human resources tasks
  • Creating and posting job advertisements on job websites 
  • Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews
  • Scheduling and organizing interviews with potential candidates 
  • Prepare documents, screen tests, interview questions, and other relevant documents
  • Explain work requirements and job duties to candidates
  • Maintain a good relationship with employees and candidates
  • Participating in recruitment events
  • Assist with maintenance of internal company databases


  • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data 
  • Assist in forwarding rejection letters
  • Assist in interviewing and selecting employees onsite and in the field
  • Assist in preparing and sending offer emails
  • Assist in preparing and sending new employee information emails
  • Perform other special projects as assigned

Administrative Assistant Work Requirements:

  • Experience with recruiting required
  • Associates Degree or some college preferred
  • Excellent computer skills including Google Suite, Microsoft Office
  • General knowledge of federal and state employment laws and practices
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Skills in database management and record keeping
  • Ability to travel locally for recruitment meetings and employee trainings 
  • Must be readily responsive to email and text messages
