Job Description

Since you were a child, you dreamed of changing the world. Then, life happened. You went to college, you’ve got some debts, and now things aren’t looking so good. Chances are, you aren’t going to make that award-winning documentary and take the Cannes by storm. But, you can still make a difference. A quick Google search can tell you that healthcare is the fastest growing industry. After some hard work, and a little bit of fun, you knocked out that Bachelor’s Degree and you’re ready to enter the workforce. So, what’s this medical thing have to do with you? You’re not planning on taking the MCAT and spending another 4 years in school, not to mention piling up another six figures in debt. The good news is you don’t have to go to Med School to have a promising career, and you’ll never have to wear scrubs. No one looks good in monochrome anyway. Without sporting a stethoscope, you can be a positive change in the world and gain sales knowledge from industry experts, all while making someone’s day better.

We are the smart choice, literally.  Smart Choice MRI is a rapidly growing company focused on changing the healthcare experience. We are looking for agents of change to serve as Customer Advocates to help us achieve our mission. If you have dreams, this is the opportunity that you’ve been waiting for.

Patient Advocates are the voice of our brand, ensuring customers receive empathy and assistance with their healthcare decisions. You will have ownership over your success and be an essential part of the team. In fact, you’ll be the team. You get a chance to be our boots on the ground, shaping the company and making a positive impact in the world.

Primary Responsibilities
What you will actually have to do

  • Communicating with customers via calls, chats, and emails. You will be a resource for the customer to help them make informed decisions about their care.
  • Listen: Be an empathetic ear and ensure people leave a conversation feeling confident and comfortable, ideally with a smile on their face.
  • Use your expertise to help people understand and navigate healthcare processes and jargon (don’t worry, we will train you).

Additional Responsibilities Other things we want you to help us with

  • Gather valuable feedback from customers to drive company innovation and improvement.
  • Participate in OUR community to drive the company forward.
  • Be our presence at local events to help build brand awareness.

Ideal Candidates How you know you belong

  • You are driven to do the right thing for people. You have an outgoing personality and an enthusiasm for driving results.
  • You are a critical thinker with strong decision skills to resolve any questions or issues for our customers. You are energized by talking to people and making a difference in their day.
  • You want to work with a fun, fast-paced team and be part of a growing company… this means a lot of opportunity for your growth as well!

Qualified Candidates The Must-Haves

  • People Skills. You should have a track record of providing quality customer service. We want to see your ability to clearly present information, solve customer problems, and close sales. Cultivate relationships through authentic conversations with customers, and anticipate and understand their needs.
  • Self-Motivated and Driven to Succeed. You need to be organized and have time management skills… but how you do that is up to you. Ability to pick up new software and technology, and of course you should know the basics like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

What are the benefits of joining Smart Choice MRI? Unlimited La Croix, Teddy Grahams, and potential. Plus, you’ll be part of a company that is driven to do something great. Our team is excited to see each other every day and make a difference in people’s lives. We are a growing company with every opportunity… and of course, we offer competitive pay, a great 401k plan, and a full benefits package. We offer other sales-based incentives, too.

How to Apply:

  • Send in your resume so we can get a better idea of your experiences. Don’t get stuck in the format your college seminar told you about. Your resume is our first chance to see you. Give us a piece of you on paper.

We review every applicant. And we are real humans, not computers.
